ERAS Little Spring Shower

We are so happy that we decided to keep our little April here with us.
She is out of Hailey and Oliver and is such a little sweetheart.
She has many nicknames: "Peanut", "Pea-nuttiest", and "Arby's" which was
her very first nickname because we discovered she loved Arby's roast beef sandwiches!
At the time, she would hardly eat anything BUT Arby's so that became her nickname for awhile.
I'm happy to say that now, as a big girl, she eats dog food like the other dogs here.
Mostly, Steve and I call her Peanut but she answers to all her names! ha. She is such a happy, sweet Havanese.
I can't imagine our home without her in it. She makes me laugh daily.
April was just about ready for the show ring when Riley decided she'd chew all of April's coat out!
I about died!! We didn't even see it happening until it was too late, and our little April looked like a Dr. Seuss character. ha!
Well, we've been working on teaching Riley better manners and working on getting April's coat in better shape.
Just when we got it looking half way decent and there was hope for her to start her show career soon, overnight,
she turned into a huge matted mess, when she blew her puppy coat. (sigh)
Well needless to say, we are starting all over again...sigh
April will be in the show ring as an adult, which is not a bad thing at all!
Until then, she's our happy carefree little Peanut! And we know she's gorgeous and has beautiful conformation< br> so in the end, that's all that really matters to us!
