Maggie is a pretty black parti belton
who is so full of herself, that sometimes
I think she even surprises herself
with her 'tude! LOL
Maggie is a daughter of our Briar and our Oliver.
We hadn't planned on keeping a puppy from this litter,
but she just wrapped her little self right around our hearts, so what could we do?

Maggie is such a sweet girl, and she thinks it's "ALL About ME" (which really it should be! ha!)
She does not have a mean bone in her body
but she does sometimes try to fight for a higher status within our pack.
She thinks she should be da boss, but in this house
believe me we have enough bosses! ha!

Maggie began her show career in the spring of '05, and finished with all major wins, a very short time later, handled by moi, in the Bred By Exhibitor's Class. The judges loved her and she was a pleasure to show. It all happened so quickly, it was like a whirlwind! Like Riley, Maggie has beautiful reach and drive and I think it was her movement that captured the judge's eye in the ring. She can quickly put some ground under her feet!
Just when we started having fun with her in the ring, she is finished.... Way to go though, Maggie!! We're soooooo proud of you!
 This is one of her Major Win photos. Poor Maggie. It was over 100 degrees the day she finished and neither of us could stand the heat one more minute, so we didn't get her Championship picture taken. I feel bad about it now, but at the time, it was a no brainer: "Get out of the heat"! Maggie doesn't seem to mind however. ha! |
